  • How should I clean my cutting / serving board?
    Wash with warm water and soap and pat dry with towel. Do not scrub, do not soak, do not place in dishwasher.
  • Is the epoxy used for cutting boards food safe?
    The epoxy and pigment used in a Maker's Wright cutting / serving board is 100% food safe and perfectly fine to come in contact with food.
  • How do I sanitize my Maker's Wright Board?
    Keep your Maker's Wright board sanitized by wiping board with a hot, wet, soapy towel after each use. Allow the board to air dry. If you want to take extra precautions when sanitiziing, mix a one to one ratio of water and vingar and wipe surface of board, then wipe with hot wet towel.
  • How do I maintain and prolong life of my Maker's Wright board?
    For propoer maintainence and prolonged life of any cutting board it is extremely important to used a proper cutting board oil at least once every 2-3 weeks. When your board becomes dry and lighter in color, you should then re-oil your board. A variety of cutting board oils are available on the market. If you choose to use Mineral oil make sure it is 100% food safe mineral oil. DO NOT use cooking oils on your boards as those oils will go rancid quickly and can potentially damage your Maker's Wright board.
  • What types of wood is used in the making of a Maker's Wright board
    Maker's Wright sources all lumber from local lumber mills or lumber stores, although some lumber species may be outsourced from those dealers.   • Does Maker's Wright offer a gurentee or warranty on their product?
    Maker's Wright strives to deliver the highest quality craftsmanship and product to each one of our customers. We offer a 1 year warranty covering only craftsmanship defects. This warranty does not apply to damages caused by neglect, accidental or intentional damage, normal wear and tear, the misuse of products, exposure to extreme humidity or temperatures, or alterations to original product.
  • Will Maker's Wright fullfill bulk or custom orders?
    We strive to satisfy all of our customer requests. We will fulfill large orders for special occasions. Maker's Wright will also take on custom requests for all products.
